About Emerson
Emerson Rickstrew has over thirty years experience as a certified public accountant in private industry and public practice. He has worked in private industry with large companies as chief financial officer and in public practice with large and regional CPA firms. In 1983 he started his own practice providing public accounting services and has worked with income and estate tax planning and preparation, estate planning, entity planning, accounting services, and many varied special projects.
Emerson also has extensive experience in trustee services for estate trusts and Employee Stock Ownership Plan trusts. He is currently trustee, or has served as trustee of several ESOP trusts ranging from $3.5 million to over $20 million in assets. He has also served as executor for many estates.
Emerson is a graduate of West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
